Mirefoot Cottages, Cumbria
There are 4 cottages at Mirefoot. All of them are 5 star rated by Visit Britain. Two of the cottages sleep 2+2 and the other two just sleep 2. Unusually we are also Pet Friendly.
Our guests and our pets have access to the 3 acre garden and the tennis court as well.
The cottages are positioned between Windermere and Kendal and we have a bridle path leading straight into the Southern Lake District Fells.
As a five star rated business you will find that nothing has been left to chance and all your needs are catered for. When you book with Mirefoot Cottages all your towels, linen, gas and electricity are included and we also provide a Welcome Hamper as well.

Highbridge Cottages, Cumbria.

Highbridge cottages are two properties in the same building in the village of Braithwaite, a walkers' paradise in the northern Lake District. The village stream runs past the front door, which is on the edge of the common, and pubs, shops and restaurants are all within 400 yards. We are also only 2 miles from Keswick, the capital of the northern Lakes.
Both cottages have a 4-star VisitBritain rating, and the top Gold award from the Green Tourism Business Scheme; we try and live in an environmentally sustainable way, and we positively encourage our guests to do the same.
High Bridge is the larger cottage, sleeping 6 in 3 bedrooms; Highbridge Cottage sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms, or 5 with a Z-bed. Both have very comfortable beds and settees, a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom (High Bridge has an extra shower room), and solar panels to help with the gas-fired hot water heating. You can also sit outside in the yard, which faces east and south and is secure for dogs.

Foxhole Rigg Barn Cottage,Yorkshire

Look carefully at the centre of the picture and you’ll find Foxhole Rigg Barn Cottage, surrounded by plenty of open fellside for your dogs and with easy access to the Howgills, Yorkshire Dales or Eastern Lake District. For quieter walks why not meander along the Eden and Lune valleys.
There’s a sitting area on the grass in front of the Barn, offering total privacy and seclusion. You may even see deer and curlew among the many wildflowers in the traditionally farmed meadow.
Cottage-style accommodation is available for up to four guests, with a comfortable sitting and dining area, and two bedrooms, each ensuite with twin beds. Ingredients for continental breakfast are provided, and there are cooking facilities, central heating and a small television.
